Will Montgomery

Will leads Thought Machine’s engineering teams in developing world-leading cloud-native technology and is responsible for building a company culture of engineering excellence.

Before joining Thought Machine in 2014, Will was a senior software engineer at Google, working on its advertising systems, accounting for 80% of company revenues. Will became an expert in cloud technology while working on Ad Exchange, a large-scale real-time auction platform, before becoming the technical lead of mobile ads on the AdSense network.

Will received an MPhil in computer science from the University of Cambridge and a first-class degree in computer science from the University of Edinburgh.
